Press Release: For Immediate Release VISIBLE RESULTS EXPANDS WITH PRESENCE IN JAKARTAMedia Release Leading loyalty marketing organization Visible Results has established a presence in Jakarta, Indonesia to service flagship clients The Body Shop and Centro Department Stores. Visible Results has appointed Senior Account Manager Anjali Kalia to manage the office. The company is well-positioned to take advantage of Indonesia’s growing retail market, which had GDP growth of 5.6 per cent in 2007 , and expand its customer base across the country. A number of global retail brands have entered the market over the past few years. In 2003, The Body Shop Indonesia – a retailer of beauty and cosmetic products – rolled out a new Customer Rewards Program using the Visible Results Graphicard™ platform. Graphicard™ is a unique and engaging, re-writable membership card. Utilising a proprietary thermochromic process, the card is imaged and re-imaged with a continually updated range of custom-designed, programmed messages - including "real time" loyalty points information, promotions and advertising, or gaming and competitions. Members join the program in-store and receive their Body Shop People card on the spot. At the time of transaction, the customer's rewards card is 'swiped' through a counter-top unit and is instantly updated with both the number of points earned and any special offers available. The customer and product data gathered through the program is used to derive insights that in turn provide the basis for tailored communications targeted to specific customer segments. These communications are used to up-sell and cross-sell different ranges of products, or stimulate an increase in shopper purchase frequency. By January 2004, The Body Shop had rolled out their program to 56 stores across all seven states in Indonesia - migrating all members of its existing program to the Graphicard™ platform. Malaysian Apple reseller Machines has also taken advantage of the technology. Anjali Kalia will work closely with Graeme Dixon-Hall, General Manager at Visible Results’ Singapore office to build the Indonesian operation. “Visible Results has ten years’ experience designing and delivering customer loyalty programs to retailers in the region and key overseas markets including the USA, UK and Australia,” said Dixon-Hall. “We are strengthening our position in Indonesia and Singapore as part of our Asian market development and look forward to helping retailers in Indonesia with their customer marketing strategies.” Prior to joining Visible Results, Kalia was Branch Head at the Mumbai, India office of loyalty marketing firm NetCarrots Loyalty Services. She has established and managed loyalty programs for a diverse range of companies including Godrej and Pantaloon in India, Colgate Palmolive and the National Kidney Foundation of Singapore. She recently completed her Masters in Management Studies, specialising in marketing.
