USA RELEASE: SHERIDAN'S FROZEN CUSTARD LAUNCHES CUSTARD REWARDS PROGRAM - 16th July 2003

Overland Park, Kan. (7/16/03)- Sheridan's Frozen Custard launched its Custard Rewards Card loyalty program on July 1st using Visible Results patented GraphiCardT Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Sheridan's has implemented the program in 7 of its 13 Kansas City area locations including Blue Springs, Belton, Independence, Lawrence, Lee's Summit, and 2 Overland Park locations, with a rollout expected to the remaining sites later this year.

Jim Sheridan, Founder of Sheridan's Frozen Custard, indicated that the introduction of a loyalty program was part of their strategy to increase customer value. "We wanted to reward our customers for making the choice to visit Sheridan's. We selected the Visible Results platform because they made it very easy for us to change our promotions quickly. And it's a very cool technology," Jim Sheridan concluded.

Using the GraphiCard technology, program members' cards are inserted into a smart point-of-sale terminal during each sales transaction. A cutting-edge thermal process enables the front of the card to display points earned by the customer along with other personalized messages such as targeted offers, details of special promotions and sales, advertising messages, particulars of instant win games, and more. During the launch, members earn points for every dollar they spend in store and can redeem them for items such as hotdogs, frozen custard and extra toppings. Jim Sheridan indicated that the program results to date have been better than expected with a significant amount of repeat business evident. "The sites currently on the program are pretty pleased - we're looking forward to rolling Custard Rewards out to the rest of the network."
